MoneyKeep values the privacy and security of its users' personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information. When collecting your personal data, we are subject to the provisions of Federal Law No. 13.709/2018 (General Data Protection Law - LGPD).

When using the MoneyKeep platform, some of your personal data is collected, as provided in this section.

We collect the following personal data that our users provide when using our site:

  • Full name
  • CPF (only for Brazilians)
  • Email address
  • Financial information (such as income and expenses)
  • Navigation data (such as IP address and browser type)

The collection of this data occurs at the time of user registration on the platform and when using it.

Sensitive data from our users will not be collected. These are understood as those defined in arts. 11 and following of the General Data Protection Law. Thus, data on racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, political opinions, union membership or membership in an organization of a religious, philosophical, or political nature, data concerning health or sexual life, genetic or biometric data, when linked to a natural person, will not be collected.

2. Unforeseen Data Collection

Occasionally, other types of data not expressly provided for in this Privacy Policy may be collected, provided they are supplied with the user's consent, or if the collection is permitted based on another legal basis provided by law.

In any case, the collection of data and the resulting processing activities will be communicated to the site's users.

3. Data Usage

We use your data to:

Even when adopting such measures and establishing an adequate standard of data security, it is possible that a problem may occur solely caused by a third party - such as in the case of hacker or cracker attacks or, still, in case of the user's exclusive fault, which occurs, for example, when the user themselves transfers their data to a third party. Although we are generally responsible for the personal data we process, we are not liable if an exceptional situation like these occurs, over which we have no control.

If any type of security incident occurs that may pose a risk or significant damage to any of our users, we will notify the affected users and the National Data Protection Authority of the incident, as provided in the General Data Protection Law.

6. Duration of Personal Data Storage

The personal data we collect will be stored and used as long as the user has an active account registered on the platform. If there is any legal or regulatory justification, the data may continue to be stored even if the purpose for which they were collected or processed has been exhausted.

Once the processing is finalized, in compliance with the provisions of this section, the data will be deleted or anonymized.

7. Data Subject Rights

You have the right to, at any time:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data
  • Request the anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data
  • Revoke your consent at any time

Data subjects whose personal data we process can exercise their rights through a specific section on the platform.

Alternatively, if desired, the data subject can send an email. To ensure that the user who intends to exercise their rights is indeed the data subject of the personal data in question, we may request documents or other information that may assist in their correct identification, in order to protect our rights and the rights of third parties. This will only be done, however, if absolutely necessary, and the requester will receive all related information.

8. International Data Transfer

Due to the organization and operation of the platform, your personal data may be transferred and stored in other countries, for which we adopt appropriate protection measures as required by the LGPD.

9. Cookies

Cookies are small files used by browsers to identify devices, activities, and user preferences and are automatically downloaded when browsing the internet.

Cookies do not allow any files or information to be extracted from the user's device. On our platform, we use cookies to improve your browsing experience, however, you can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but this may affect the functionality of the site.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, especially to adapt it to any updates made on our platform, whether by providing new functionalities or by removing or modifying those already existing.
